PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent laminated film which has a metal oxide thin film containing a reduced amount of carbon-containing components and having a large refractive index, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The transparent laminated film includes a transparent polymer film and a thin film laminate which is disposed on at least one surface of the transparent polymer film and which is formed by laminating a plurality of thin films. The thin film laminate has a metal oxide thin film and a metal thin film. The metal oxide thin film is formed by irradiating a coating film formed by applying and drying a solution containing a metal alkoxide with microwave plasma.
