PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device capable of reducing energy loss caused by clutch engagement pressure.SOLUTION: A clutch device presses on a first friction plate 17 and a second friction plate 18 by using an elastic member 20, by making clutch engagement hydraulic pressure act on a clutch piston 21, and moving the same in the clutch engagement direction, and then in this state, a position of the clutch piston 21 is mechanically locked by a locking mechanism 32. The locking mechanism 32 is capable of varying the locking position thereof in the axial direction according to a maximum elastic displacement position of the elastic member 20. The clutch engagement hydraulic pressure is reduced according to an operation state by a clutch engagement hydraulic pressure reducing portion 42 when the locking mechanism 32 is locked. |
