PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding mechanism capable of suppressing distortion of a recording medium conveyed by a sheet feeding roller when the recording medium is curved along an inclined surface of an inclined portion.SOLUTION: A recording mechanism, including a sheet feeding roller for feeding, out of stacked recording media, the uppermost recording medium, and an inclined portion positioned on the downstream side, in a conveyance direction of the recording medium, of the sheet feeding roller and having a surface inclined in the conveyance direction, further includes a regulation member that is in non-contact with the recording medium before the sheet feeding roller feeds the recording medium and contacts the recording medium while the recording medium is fed by the sheet feeding roller and is conveyed in the inclined portion. |
