PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which is highly adequate from a viewpoint of positional accuracy in assembling a paper feed frame or the like, reduction in production cost of the image forming apparatus, design flexibility and productivity.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a metal first frame 31; a resin second frame 35; and a paper feed frame 25 with a conveyance part 23 for conveying a sheet. The first frame 31 and the second frame 35 comprise: first contact portions 31A, 33A and second contact portions 35D, 35E, which come in contact with first and second contacted portions provided in the paper feed frame 25. The paper feed frame 25 is positioned by the first frame 31 higher in rigidity than the second frame 35. The image forming apparatus is novel and highly adequate from a viewpoint of positional accuracy in assembling the paper feed frame 25, reduction in production cost of the image forming apparatus, design flexibility and productivity. |
