PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conditioner capable of controlling the power generation efficiency not to reduce even when plural peak points appear in the output power characteristic from solar cells.SOLUTION: A control section 7 sequentially selects any two of boosting circuits 21-24 to calculate and compare the respective input currents. When the difference between the input currents is smaller than a predetermined threshold value, the control section 7 determines that the output power characteristics from the solar cells S1-S4 connected to a boosting circuit as a comparison target has only one single peak point. When the difference between the input currents is larger than a predetermined threshold value, the control section 7 determines that the output power characteristics from the solar cells S1-S4 connected to a boosting circuit as a comparison target have plural peak points, and resets operation points of the solar cells S1-S4 in an area adjacent to the maximum power point. |
