PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image editing device, an image editing method, and a program, capable of producing a natural look and high quality synthesized photographic image that can be rearranged.SOLUTION: In editing a synthesized photographic image produced by synthesizing a plurality of images with regard to a background image on the basis of a synthesizing position of the synthesized photographic image: a background part image is erased when the background part image is recorded (S301, S303); a plurality of blocks containing the synthesizing position of the synthesized photographic image is cut out as the background part image (S305); and a compressed image compressed with an image compression unit and a background part image selected is stored as an image file (S137). |
