<p>The method comprises obtaining at least two half-moulds (23, 24), wherein each half-mould (23, 24) is obtained outside of the axis (3) of advance by blowing sand using a horizontal mould on a template (15, 16) which is located horizontally during said moulding, said template (15, 16) defining a mark in a face of each half-mould (23, 24). The method comprises rotating 905 and positioning said at least two half-moulds (23, 24) such that their faces that incorporate the marks are vertically facing one another, thereby defining a cavity (26) that can be filled with the molten material for the component to be obtained. The moulding equipment comprises at least one triggering chamber (4, 5) that comprises a sand-blowing chamber (20), located outside of the axis (3) of advance, in which it is possible to obtain the half-mould (23, 24) and rotation means (27) for rotating 905 the template (15, 16) with the half-mould (23, 24) in order to position same vertically and means (6, 7) for conveying the half-mould (23, 24) to a half-mould-assembly area (8) provided in the axis (3) of advance of the moulds. The mould obtained comprises two sand half-moulds (23, 24) that comprise a mark on one face such that, once the faces of the half-moulds that incorporate the marks have been positioned so as to face one another they form a casting vessel (21) with a volume which is at least 15% of the volume of the cavity (26) defined by the facing marks of the two half-moulds (23, 24).</p> |
