An accelerator grip assembly provided with an accelerator grip to which external force is applied by an actuator, wherein the accelerator grip assembly is configured so that the operation of the accelerator grip in the direction in which the output of an engine decreases is ensured and so that the external force to the accelerator grip is applied without delay. An accelerator grip assembly (2) has: a handlebar (3); an accelerator grip (4) for adjusting the output of an engine, the accelerator grip (4) being mounted so as to be capable of rotating about the axis of the handlebar (3); a pressing member for pressing the accelerator grip (4) in the direction in which the output of the engine decreases; and an electric motor (22) disposed so as to be capable of transmitting power to the accelerator grip (4) through a power transmission path including both a gear mechanism and a one-way clutch (23). The one-way clutch (23) transmits the power of the electric motor (22) to the accelerator grip (4) in the direction in which the output of the engine decreases and does not transmit the power to the accelerator grip (4) in the direction in which the output of the engine increases.
