摘要 The present invention relates to a method for determining an operating current of a DC high-temperature superconducting cable. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for determining an operating current of a DC high-temperature superconducting cable which forms a plurality of layers by bonding high-temperature superconducting wires outside a former comprises: a threshold current calculating step for calculating the entire threshold current of the DC high-temperature superconducting cable through the calculation of a simultaneous equation by applying Kirchhoff′s voltage laws (KVL) to an electrical equivalent circuit of the DC high-temperature superconducting cable; an operating current design criterion selecting step for causing an operating current of the DC high-temperature superconducting cable to approach the threshold current gradually and selecting, a design criterion of the operating current, a point where heat occurs by flow resistance in each layer of the high-temperature superconducting wires; and an operating current determining step for determining an operating current in the allowable range of the DC high-temperature superconducting cable according to the operating current design criterion. According to the present invention, the method can calculate a point where heat occurs by flow resistance in the DC high-temperature superconducting cable to use the calculated point as a criterion for determining an operating current, thereby using the criterion as a design criterion for determining an operating current of the DC high-temperature superconducting cable.
