The present invention relates to a monitoring device and a method for processing a diagnosis for the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for processing a diagnosis for the monitoring device which comprises a board, and a module part including a main module and a sub-module, may comprise a step of storing the normal operation data of the monitoring device; a step of measuring a specific value of the main module connected to the board to operate; a step of determining whether the main module is in a normal operation state by comparing the measured value with the normal operation data; and a step of processing the sub-module to operate by disconnecting the board from the main module and connecting the board to the sub-module when the main module is not in the normal operation state.
