PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus that includes improvement means for a variety of pieces of existing equipment for performing vertical short-distance takeoff/landing of a fixed-wing and fixed-engine ship-based aircraft and a variety of V/STOL aircraft, and the departure/arrival of the aircraft from/on a ship.SOLUTION: Two-shaft fan equipment C of a turbo shaft engine is connected to a catapult air cushion float base A, and an aircraft is loaded on a float. The catapult equipment enables short-distance takeoff/landing and departure/arrival of a ship-based aircraft, a baby carrier and the like from a combination of air cushion levitation propulsion float base equipment, magnetic levitation equipment M and linear motor equipment L.
