A connector for simultaneously connecting and disconnecting electrical and fluid paths is disclosed. The connector comprises an internal valve which activates fluid flow when the two sides of the connector are connected together to provide an electrical connection and deactivates the fluid flow when the connectors are disconnected. The connector bodies can be constructed of metal or other conductive materials providing an electrical connection, and can include holes or apertures to provide fluid paths through the connector bodies. Valves can be included in both mating connectors to prevent or allow fluid flow from both sides of the flow path. |
