A method and a system for calculating carbon emission amount occurred during distribution delivery process are provided. The method for calculating carbon emission amount according to the present invention calculates the amount of carbon emission on the basis of the information about a delivery transportation unit and delivery distance by delivery trajectory from delivery start point to delivery end point. By the same, the amount of carbon emission of an individual article unit can be traced, and a parcel service user can inquiry the amount of carbon emission while the parcel article is delivered, in real-time.
