Disclosed is a method for installing a waste-heat recovery unit. The method for installing a waste-heat recovery apparatus of the present invention, which relates to a method for installing a blocked waste-heat recovery apparatus, includes: 1) a raising step, in which the lowermost block of the waste-heat recovery apparatus is supported by a hydro-jack and is raised to the height at which the waste-heat recovery apparatus is prepared; 2) a coupling step, in which at least one upper block of the waste-heat recovery apparatus is placed on top of the lowermost block, and the blocks are mutually fixed; and 3) a completion step, in which the hydro-jack is removed.
