The present invention provides a roll container suitable for transporting post, namely letters. The novel roll container (100) which includes two opposing parallel side wall frames (20), 5 wherein the front ends of the side wall frames define the width of the front opening of the roll container (100). The roll con tainer (100) also includes a a door (10), and a hinge (40) which connects the door (10) to one of said side wall frames (20). The door (10) includes a lower portion (11) and an upper portion 10 (12) which is adapted slidably to tracks provided to the lower portion (11). The roll container (100) further includes means (13, 21) for locking the upper portion (12) of the door to the front end of the side wall frames (20) at different heights. (Fig. 2) |||D |
