PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable repair by easily identifying a water leakage position in a nuclear fuel storage pool, in a water leakage detection method and repair method for a nuclear fuel storage pool.SOLUTION: A water leakage detection method and repair method for a nuclear fuel storage pool comprises the steps of: feeding air between an inner surface of a water storage tank 21 and a lining 22; identifying a damaged part of the lining 22 from an air leakage position in the lining 22; and repairing the damaged part of the lining 22.
