PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding base for portable information terminal adaptable to a plurality of types of portable information terminal of different connector specification simply with less labor, and to provide a desk telephone.SOLUTION: A holding base 10 for portable information terminal holding a plurality of types of portable information terminal 30, 40 of different connector specification, and being connected electrically with the portable information terminal 30, 40 thus held includes a holding base body 11 having a main mounting surface 11a, a terminal cover 12 attached removably to the lower end of the main mounting surface 11a and supporting the lower ends of the portable information terminal 30, 40 mounted on the main mounting surface 11a, and a connector holder 18 for holding a connector 17a on the holding base side. A plurality of types of connector holder 18 are prepared according to the specification of the connector 17a on the holding base side, and the terminal cover 12 has a holder housing section 123 for housing and holding the plurality of types of connector holder 18. |
