PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus capable of smoothening update of a display content on a display screen according to a touch operation to a touch sensor, and a display control method.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus of an embodiment includes a calculation unit, a second calculation unit, and a generation unit. The calculation unit non-periodically calculates a screen operation position on a display screen according to a touch operation position to a touch device. The second calculation unit calculates a predicted screen operation position on the display screen at a calculation interval shorter than an update interval for updating a display content on the display screen, on the basis of the screen operation position. The generation unit generates image data to be displayed on the display screen on the basis of the predicted screen operation position. |
