PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the precursor of a superconducting wire rod capable of reducing hysteresis loss, and a superconducting wire rod.SOLUTION: In the precursor of a superconducting wire rod, by heat-treating a laminated metal after the step of forming an intermediate layer, a nonmagnetic Ni alloy layer is formed from the laminated metal. In this way, by the diffusion of Ni in the laminated metal, in the nonmagnetic Ni alloy layer, the concentration of Ni from a boundary with the intermediate layer toward the surface on the side opposite to the boundary is monotonously reduced so as to be always reduced. |
