PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package type rotary pump unit capable of obtaining a more effective cooling effect.SOLUTION: The package type rotary pump unit comprises: a rotary pump 10; an electric motor 11; a package 20 forming a housing space for housing them; and a cooling fan 14 arranged at a top of the package 20 so that cooling air flows from a bottom to a top in the housing space, and sucking the cooling air inside the package from a suction port 21a at a bottom part of the package 20 and exhausting the air to outside for cooling the inside of the package. At least one part of a wall of the package 20 is formed in a double structure. The double-structure wall comprises upper communication ports 30b, 31b, 32b communicated with the suction port 21a at the bottom of the package 20 so that the cooling air is introduced to the inside, and communicated with an upper side of the housing space so that the cooling air flows from a bottom to a top inside and is sucked in the cooling fan 14. |
