[Problem] To provide a machine tool that enables interference between a worker performing a set-up task and a worker accessing the machine main unit to be avoided, enables the gap between disposed machine tools to be made narrower while maintaining work space, and enables line length to be shortened if a production line is formed. [Solution] A machine main unit door (8) that opens and closes an opening (7a) that a worker (M1) uses to access a machine main unit (3a) and a set-up door (9) that opens and closes an opening (7b) that a worker (M2) uses to load in and load out a workpiece to a workpiece exchange device (2) are disposed so that an outer surface (8a) of the machine main unit door (8) and an outer surface (9a) of the set-up door (9) intersect obliquely.
