<p>The subject matter discloses an apparatus (600), having an envelope (610) and a base (608) for holding a grenade (602), a rear cover (665) connected to the envelope (610) for attaching said envelope (610) to a vest; a top cover (630) to secure the grenade (602) from above when positioned in a downward position and moving upwards to an upward position; a spring (640) connected to the top cover (630) and to the envelope (610) and a button (621, 622) that causes the top cover (630) to move to the upward position when pressed by the user. The button (621, 622) is located below the top cover (630) and connected only to one of the envelope (610) or the rear cover (665). The user of the apparatus (600) can release the grenade (602) from the apparatus while pressing the button (621, 622) and the envelope (610) is designed to enable the user to hold the grenade (602) and the grenade lever (605) singlehandedly when pressing the button (621, 622) and when releasing the grenade (602) from the apparatus (600).</p> |
