摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit work for connecting winding wire group split bodies with each other in a step of mounting a winding wire group 7 around teeth 6 of a decompression core 5, bending the decompression core 5 and integrating ends in an annular shape, in a method of manufacturing a stator 1 of a rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: In a stator 1, a combination of fractional pitch winding groups 18 which are included in different two phases and neighboring to each other in a circumferential direction and further in the combination, a fractional pitch winding specific set 25 is present in which a fractional pitch winding group 18 at one side in the circumferential direction and a fractional pitch winding group 18 at another side in the circumferential direction are not overlapped in the circumferential direction and another winding wire group 7 is not disposed between another circumferential end of the fractional pitch winding group 18 at the one side in the circumferential direction and one circumferential end of the fractional pitch winding group 18 at the other side in the circumferential direction. Thus, two fractional pitch winding groups 18 constituting the fractional pitch winding specific set are disposed in the ends of a decompression core 5, thereby eliminating the need of a winding wire group split body. Therefore, work for connecting winding wire group split bodies with each other can be omitted in the method of manufacturing the stator 1.
