PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coffee-like edible and drinkable composition having taste, flavor, and color impression similar to coffee with no caffeine content; a production method thereof; and a bottled burdock derived coffee-like beverage.SOLUTION: The production method of a burdock derived coffee-like edible and drinkable composition includes the steps of blanching a burdock, peeling and cutting the burdock, drying the burdock, and roasting the dried burdock two times. The bottled burdock derived coffee-like beverage is made of the aqueous solvent extract of the burdock derived coffee-like edible and drinkable composition. |
