PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation operation type writing instrument allowing a design of a rear shaft cylinder and a design of a front shaft cylinder to be extremely easily continuous with each other in a manner of causing no displacement in rotational position (rotational phase).SOLUTION: A cam cylinder (17) is rotated by a rotation operation of a rear shaft cylinder (3). Thereby, a cam projection (18a) moves forward by a cam groove (17a) and a slit (16b). Accordingly, a slide body (18) moves forward. A writing body (14) is moved forward against an energization force of an elastic body (15) via the slide body (18). The slide body (18) includes a hollow body (18m), a coil spring (18c), and a flange body (18f). An O-ring (19) is disposed along an outer periphery of the flange body (18f). |
