PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove image components more effectively by taking filter frequency characteristic difference into consideration.SOLUTION: A compensation device for performing compensation processing to remove image components in an orthogonal demodulation signal comprises an orthogonal demodulation compensation unit 7 for compensating an orthogonal demodulation signal including an I signal and a Q signal. The orthogonal demodulation compensation unit 7 performs compensation processing to compensate characteristic difference between the frequency characteristic of a first filter 53a performing filter processing of the I signal and the frequency characteristic of a second filter 53b performing filter processing of the Q signal.
