PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that in a conventional liquid crystal display panel using a metallic film as a light shielding mask of a color filter, a parasitic capacitor with other wiring is generated to easily cause a delay in signals, and that, when an organic film containing a black pigment is used as a light shielding film of the color filter, the number of manufacturing processes is increased.SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal display panel, a layered film of two colored layers (a layered film of a red-colored layer 13 and a blue-colored layer 12, or a layered film of the red-colored layer 13 and a green-colored layer 11) is formed as light shielding portions 15, 16 on a counter substrate so as to overlap TFTs on an element substrate without using a light-shielding mask (black matrix). |
