PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably generate a dictionary and obtain an identification result and to improve accuracy in pattern identification.SOLUTION: An image classification device comprises: an image cutout section configured to cut out an area with less wrinkles and so on by detecting an area where wrinkles and so on are formed in a pattern on a fabric, imaged as a learning image; a feature quantity extraction section configured to extract a plurality of feature quantities indicating a feature of the pattern included in a cutout image; a representative vector extraction section configured to extract a representative vector for each of the plurality of feature quantities; a feature histogram generation section configured to generate a histogram for a feature quantity corresponding to the representative vector, on the basis of the representative vector; and a learning section configured to calculate an identification parameter, which is a weighing coefficient for the histogram, on the basis of the histogram and a label corresponding to the image, and to generate pattern classification data in which the calculated identification parameter and the representative vector corresponding to the identification parameter are associated to each other. |
