PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine cover mounting structure including a fitting structure for detachably fitting a mounting member for fitting composed of an elastic body and a projecting body for fitting in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle, at least, at a depth side of an engine room, and capable of making the mounting member for fitting hardly separate from a mounting base portion in mounting and detaching the engine cover even when the mounting member for fitting is inserted and retained to a recessed portion of the mounting base portion from the direction at right angle to a central shaft of the mounting member for fitting.SOLUTION: A mounting structure at a depth side of an engine room includes a mounting base portion 11b and a deformation restricting portion 11c. A recessed portion of the mounting base portion 11b surrounds 2/3 round or more of the mounting member 40 for fitting, and retains the mounting member 40 for fitting. The deformation restricting portion 11c is kept into contact with an end portion at a side opposite to a side to which the projecting body 31 for fitting of the mounting member 40 for fitting is inserted, to restrict the deformation of the end portion to a side separating from the mounting base portion 11b in the central shaft direction of a fitting hole 41. |
