PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication module and the assembly method of the optical communication module.SOLUTION: An optical communication module 6 comprises: a substrate 2; a lens carrier 3; and a ferrule 4, and the substrate 2 includes at least two light transmission/reception chips 24, and each light transmission/reception chip 24 includes a plurality of photoelectric units 241, and each photoelectric unit 241 has a positioning mark. The lens carrier 3 includes: a frame and a lens array including a plurality of lens units. The ferrule 4 and the lens carrier 3 are mutually assembled. Each photoelectric unit 241 of the substrate 2 is associated with each lens unit of the lens carrier 3, and when the lens carrier 3 and the substrate 2 are assembled, the positioning of each lens unit with the positioning mark on the photoelectric unit 241 results in the precise positioning of the lens carrier 3 and the substrate 2. Furthermore, the ferrule 4 and the lens carrier 3 are assembled so that a precise optical communication path can be formed. |
