A fluid-tight rotary drive between aligned driving and driven shafts 10 and 11 respectively comprises a drive transmitting plate 17 having on two faces aligned central projections 15, 16 housing bearings 14 which receive aligned eccentrically mounted pins 12, 13 on the facing ends of shafts 10 and 11 respectively, and a flexible sealing element 25 engaging at its outer edge 24a an annular groove 24 of a wall 23 through which shaft 11 projects and at its central aperture 26 the projection 16 of plate 17, which latter moves in a circular path without rotating. The plate 17 is located between two fixed plates 21 supported by brackets 27 on the wall 23, each plate 21 having a central clearance hole 22 for the projections 15, 16, and a pair of diametrically opposite holes 20. As the plate 17 describes its circular motion, rollers 18 mounted on it run round the peripheries of the holes 20 to prevent rotation of the plate 17. |
