ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM, PROCESSOR DEVICE FOR ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM, AND DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD FOR ENDOSCOPIC IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely display the difference in the oxygen state of blood vessels as difference in color on an image.SOLUTION: Blue image data Bx is obtained by imaging a specimen illuminated with narrowband light of a first different-absorption wavelength region in which the absorption coefficient of oxyhemoglobin is larger than the absorption coefficient of deoxyhemoglobin. Green image data Gy is obtained by imaging a specimen illuminated with G light having a green band. An intensity ratio B/G is calculated on the basis of the blue image data Bx and the green image data Gy. The intensity ratio B/G becomes larger as the degree of oxygen saturation decreases. Blue image data Bx' and green image data Gy' are obtained by applying the gain processing corresponding to the intensity ratio B/G to the blue image data Bx and the green image data Gy. An oxygen saturation image is displayed on the basis of the blue image data Bx' and the green image data Gy'.
