PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base plate for a hard disk drive, a method for manufacturing the same, and a hard disk drive.SOLUTION: A base plate includes: a base body on which a disk is placed; and a component receiving part penetrating through the base body so as to receive a circuit component mounted on a substrate therein at the time of coupling the substrate and the base body. The outside of the component receiving part may have a step part formed so that a sealing member to seal the component receiving part can be seated thereon.
