PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device including a sheet cassette capable of appropriately regulating a sheet position and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: In a sheet cassette, a regulation member 42 rotatably supported on a regulation mechanism body 41 regulates a position at an upstream end of a sheet. The regulation member 42 engages with an interlocking member, to move between a housing position and a projecting position while interlocking with a rotating operation of an intermediate plate. A lock release mechanism 48 releases fixing of the regulation mechanism body 41 to a cassette body while releasing the engagement between the regulation member 42 and the interlocking member. When the lock release mechanism 48 releases the engagement with the interlocking member, an urging portion 60 urges the regulation member 42 toward the housing position. |
