The method involves detecting a shutdown process of a drive motor (110). An aggregate bearing unit (115) is actuated for the duration of the shutdown process in order to influence the dynamic characteristics of the aggregate bearing unit. The detection process is performed to determine whether the shutdown process is a portion of a temporary operation interruption of the drive motor. The control process is upheld during the temporary operation interruption. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a computer program product for controlling aggregate bearing unit for supporting drive motor of motor car; and (2) a control device for controlling aggregate bearing unit for supporting drive motor of motor car.
