<p>Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an apparatus and a base station for improving a user capacity in a physical sector, wherein the method comprises: determining a mapping relationship between a current user terminal and a home beam region or an intersection region in the physical sector, wherein the physical sector is provided with multiple beams in different directions; the intersection region is an overlapped coverage region of adjacent beams in the same physical region; and the home beam region is a region other than the intersection region in a coverage region of each beam; a beam sending communications data to the user terminal located in the home beam region corresponding to the beam; all beams in a coverage intersection region sending communications data to the user terminal located in the intersection region together; multiplexing a same time frequency resource for user terminals located in different home beam regions; and switching between beams when the user terminal switches between the home beam region and the intersection region. Because user terminals located in different home beam regions can multiplex the same time frequency resource in the embodiments of the present invention, the user capacity is improved.</p> |
