PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of ground improvement around a pile head, with which excavated sediment around the pile head and a flowable solidification material can be sufficiently stirred and mixed, the ground around the pile head is improved and horizontal resistance of a ready-made pile can be reinforced.SOLUTION: A stirring/mixing blade 21 can be fitted to an outer circumferential surface in an upper part of a buried pile 10 including the pile head thereof, has such an inner diameter as to move along an axial direction of the upper part of the pile including the pile head while being fitted, and stirs and mixes sediment excavated to an outer surface side and a flowable solidification material. A cylindrical stirring/mixing tube body 20 includes an injection tube for the flowable solidification material. The upper part of the pile including the pile head is covered with the stirring/mixing blade 21 and the stirring/mixing tube body 20 and next, while rotating the stirring/mixing tube body 20 around the pile 10, the stirring/mixing tube body 20 iteratively reciprocates to predetermined depth in the ground while being guided by the upper part of the pile including the pile head. During the reciprocative movement, the flowable solidification material is discharged from the injection tube onto the excavated sediment. |
