PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color calibration method for compensating for colors of content to be displayed on a screen in accordance with external light intensity and for preventing color distortion of the content.SOLUTION: A color calibration method includes the steps of: obtaining radiation energy of channels for three colors of red, green and blue in accordance with a screen reflectance; obtaining current self luminescence energy of three colors of red, green and blue of each pixel on a screen in accordance with both screen luminance and each gray scale value of three colors of red, green and blue of each pixel on the screen; obtaining self luminescence energy based on compensation for two colors having a minimum gray scale value among three colors of red, green and blue of each pixel, in accordance with both radiation energy of the channels for three colors of red, green and blue of each pixel and the current self luminescence energy of three colors of red, green and blue; and obtaining a gray scale value based on the compensation for two colors in accordance with the self luminescence energy based on the compensation for two colors having the minimum gray scale value. |
