摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce a fuel storage rack existing in a coolant of a fuel pool.SOLUTION: The fuel storage rack 10 includes: fuel storage cells 20 that are formed in a frame shape having an opening upper part by binding a plurality of longitudinal parts of angle materials 21 via binding materials 22 and 23 so that four longitudinally extending angle materials 21 are disposed at four corners, and into which a plurality of fuels are inserted from the opening in the upper part in an arranged state of the fuels in a coolant of a fuel pool; supporting members 11 and 12 for supporting the fuel storage cell 20 in the coolant of the fuel pool. A reinforcement method of the fuel storage rack 10 includes the steps of: stacking and disposing reinforcement members 1 between the fuel storage cells 20 in a state in which the fuel storage rack 10 is disposed in the coolant of the fuel pool; and then laterally enlarging and deforming the reinforcement members 1 to bring them into contact with the outer peripheries of the fuel storage cells 20.
