PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side ditch for a paved road, with which substantial widening of the effective width of a driveway, improving the safety in travelling of bicycles, and improving a drainage function are possible.SOLUTION: A side ditch for a paved road includes: a top surface projection 15 which is provided in a middle part in the width direction of a top face of a top surface part 12 so that the projection 15 is continued in the lengthwise direction of the side ditch; a driveway side step part 13 which is provided nearer to a driveway side than the top surface projection 15, which configures a part nearer to the driveway of the top face of the top surface part 12, and which becomes a part where a pavement material 31 of a driveway 30 is stacked to a height continued to a top face 15a of the top surface projection 15; a sidewalk side step part 14 which is provided nearer to a sidewalk side than the top surface projection 15, which configures a part nearer to the sidewalk of the top face of the top surface part 12, and which becomes a part where curb stones 50 and a pavement material 41 of the sidewalk 40 are placed and stacked; a water collecting dent 16 provided continuously in the lengthwise direction of a side ditch in a top face of a central part in the width direction of the top surface projection 15; and drainage holes 17 arranged at intervals so that they penetrate vertically through the top surface part 12 downward and continuously from the water collecting dent 16. |
