PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device capable of suppressing rotation in both directions, and an in-wheel motor capable of reducing energy loss.SOLUTION: A clutch device 60 includes: an outside member 61 that is a cylindrical member fixed to a stationary system; a holder 62; an inside member 63; a bearing 65; and a return spring 67. When the relative phase of the holder 62 with respect to the inside member 63 is changed by friction force generated in a clutch side frictional engagement member 64, the return spring 67 acts between the holder 62 and the inside member 63, and generates elastic force that returns the relative phase of the holder 62 in a direction of reducing the change of the relative phase. |
