PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for allowing a user to grasp a precise distance between a self-vehicle and an object when a synthesized image in which a vehicle image is superposed on a peripheral image is displayed.SOLUTION: A peripheral image in which a vehicle and peripheral regions of the vehicle are viewed from virtual viewpoints is generated from a photographed image, and a synthesized image where a vehicle image showing the vehicle is superposed on the peripheral image is generated. Wire frame display in which a frame of a vehicle body is displayed by a linear wire frame is carried out on the vehicle image in the synthesized image, and a display form of the wire frame display is changed in accordance with a prescribed condition. Thus, an interval on the image between the vehicle image and an object image can securely be checked irrespective of a position of the object, and the distance of the object to the vehicle can precisely be grasped. |
