PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy foil for lithium battery outer packaging, excellent in square tube formability, and to provide its manufacturing method.SOLUTION: There is provided an aluminum alloy foil for lithium battery outer packaging made of an aluminum alloy containing Fe: 1.2 to 1.7 mass%, Si: 0.04 to 0.08 mass%, and Cu: 0.2 mass% or less, Mn: 0.2 mass% or less, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities, and having the total content of the Cu and the Mn of 0.05 mass% or more, an average grain diameter of crystal grains of 7 μm or less, and elongation in directions 0°, 45°, 90° each of 20% or more. There is also provided a method of manufacturing the aluminum alloy foil. |
