PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator driving device for passenger rescue, an elevator system, and a method for easily rescuing a passenger in which a passenger trapped in a car of an elevator can be rescued even when a motor of a winch breaks down, and which is easily installed even when a space cannot be secured for installing a battery to back up a main power supply.SOLUTION: In the elevator system including: a car 2; a balance weight 3; a main rope 4 for suspending the car 2 and the balance weight 3; a traction sheave 5 around which the main rope 4 is wound; a winch for driving the traction sheave 5; a rail 7 for guiding the car 2; and a guide roller 8 that rotates and moves along the rail 7 to drive the car 2 by friction force, the system includes: a guide roller motor 10 for driving the guide roller 8; and a battery 11 for supplying power to the guide roller motor 10, and when weight difference between the car 2 and the balance weight 3 is small, the system operates the guide roller motor 10 for moving the car 2 to the nearest floor to rescue the passenger inside the car 2. |
