The method involves arranging a non-metallic core layer (4c) between metallic covering layers (4a, 4b) of a light metal sheet (4). The light metal sheet is connected with a component or a metal sheet using an aperture (4d) into the light metal sheet. The aperture is stamped with the light metal sheet under the application of a stamping unit (3), and an edge region of the aperture is heated and deformed according to stamping of the light metal sheet such that the core layer is partially moved along surrounding of the aperture. The covering layer is in contact with a region.
