A reinforced concrete rectangular floor or wall panel 1, which may be of storey height, is formed with longitudinal and transverse ribs 2 providing open boxes 3 on its rear face, the peripheral ribs having holes 6 for bolting and/ or gluing to adjacent panels, and all ribs having depressions 5 to provide channels accommodating service conduits. The ribbed face may be covered with a flat insulating or acoustic board, while the outer face may incorporate cast-in mosaic or pebble-dash. A junction between floor and wall panels, Fig. 7 (not shown) is secured by gluing and long bolts. |
