A backlight module is provided, comprising a back frame (2), a light source (4) and a reflector (6) that are provided in the back frame (2), a light guide plate (8) provided on the reflector (6), and a plastic frame (10) provided on the back frame (2). The light source (4) is connected to an external circuit by a wire (42), a carrying portion (242) for carrying the wire (42) is provided on the back frame (2), an accommodation slot (142) is provided in a position, corresponding to the wire (42), of the plastic frame (10), and the wire (42) is provided between the carrying portion (242) and the accommodation slot (142). For the backlight module, the carrying portion (242) is provided on the back frame (2), the accommodation slot (142) is provided on the plastic frame (10), and the wire (42) is fixed between the carrying portion (242) and the accommodation slot (142), thereby effectively avoiding a damage to the light source during mounting of the wire in the prior art, effectively ensuring integrity of the light source, and further ensuring the quality of the backlight module; moreover, the back frame (2) and the plastic frame (10) of the backlight module are engaged, the assembly and disassembly are easy, thereby effectively saving the time and reducing the production cost.
