The circuit has a current detector (11) assigned to the current source, which detects the current flow through the current source. The microcontroller comprises a sleep mode with low power consumption, which is terminated by a wake-up signal (10). The wake-up signal for the microcontroller is applied in the presence of a current at the current detector.
