A connector device for a fibre optic cable, for example a duplex cable, has a housing assembly 5 arranged to house a section of a fibre optic cable (9, fig 1), a first fibre optic connector 47 having a body 48 that receives a first optical fibre, a second fibre optic connector 49 having a body 50 that receives a second optical fibre and attachment means (41, fig 2, 65, fig 5) for releasably attaching the connectors 47,49 to the housing assembly 5. The polarity of optical fibres can be swapped. |
