<p>A hand held dental illuminating device 1 includes a light source 6 fixed at the tip of a probe like structure 3 and orientated to radiate predominantly perpendicular or near perpendicular to the probe handle 2. The handle part 2 includes a switch 7 and contains a battery 8 to power the light source. The light source 6 is preferably an LED linked to voltage controller 9 which is controlled by the switch 7. The wires 10 connect the light source 6 to the power provided by the battery 8. There is also an optional sealable end 11 which allows access to the battery 8.</p> |
